Birmingham Clothes Show

Last weekend on the 6th December I went to the Clothes Show with my best friend Shannon. We had both wanted to go for a long time, and had had the tickets booked for a very long time!

Overall the day was great, we arrived there just gone 10am after travelling their on the train from her uni house at Leamington Spa. When we first arrived we decided to have a look around before we went to see the Fashion Catwalk Show which we were booked in at 11.15am.

In the first half and hour there we both ended up spending £30 just like that - haha! But it was all definitely worth it. We first bought the new Carmex Lipbalms (shown in picture below) which were 2 for £5 so we both choose one each. I chose the pink one which is the kind of colour range I go for in lip products. I absolutely love the Carmex lipbalms, I think they're one of the best makes of lipbalms - they definitely do the trick for sore lips!

We then carried on looking around the stalls and bought some of the goody bags, we both bought the Barry M and Models Own ones for both £10 each.

In the Barry M goody bag I recieved 5 or 6 nail varnishs (all nice colours surprisingly), a lipgloss, 2 dazzle dust eyeshadows, 2 eye liners and a liquid eyeliner. Which we both thought was very good value all for just £10!!

In the Model Own goody bag we got to choose 3 nail varnish colours which we preferred so I choose some wintery colours. Also we got given a make-up kit which had a lipgloss, an eye liner, an eye shadow, eyelash curlers etc in it. Again very good value for only £10!!

(A classic photo of the beautiful goody bags we recieved! Absolutely love the bag styles - something to keep & reuse in the future)

We then went to the Fashion Catwalk Show which was actually really good, better than expected! The music and fashion walks were very well orangised and choreographed! Especially those scenes which had the half naked men in them 😏 - haha!

Afterwards we carried on looking around the stalls and made a few last purchases, throughout the afternoon we saw a few famous faces, both Charlotte from Geordie Shore and Lauren from Towie.
(Shown in picture below)

Overall the day was wonderful - it was lovely for both me and Shannon to spend some quality time together. Here are some photos of us together throughout the day...
(Us having a photo taken by Olympus, to then be put into a competition to win the PEN generation camera)

(In the photo to the right we have our 'sparkle lips' done which was a stall at the show. It was pure make-up glitter on your lips. Absolutely amazing for nights out, and Christmas events!)

Have you been lucky enough to go to this years Clothes Show at Birmingham? If so, did you buy anything similar? ❤️
