Around 1 o'clock I picked her up from her house, went inside for a little while until she was finished getting ready and spoke to her mum (who is a lovely lady and makes you feel very welcome). We headed into town, and went straight to Costa's which is defiantly a place where I go weak kneed, haha! I ordered a Vanilla Latte and a Chocolate Caramel Shortbread which were both delicious (shown in picture below) and Shannon was good and just had an Peached Iced Lemonade. The Costa in town is situated in Pescod Square which is celebrating being open 10 Years so as a kind gesture they were offering 10% off your overall bill price instead of Costa Club Points which I thinks fab!! So if your in Boston, Lincolnshire I'd pay a trip to Costa - defiantly worth it!!
We then went for a mooch around town just looking in the local shops such as New Look, Dorothy Perkins and Oldrids - Miss Selfidge Department. Boston isn't the greatest place for shopping - however I did manage to find some new work trousers from Dorothy Perkins in the Petite range. So it was a little bonus!!
We then made our way round town and walked past Cooplands Bakery seeing someone eating Cheese Straws and neither of us could resist - so we bought 5 for £1 and shared them. They were fresh out of the oven and absolutely devine. Defiantly worth the calories! (Hahaa - even though i'd also had a cake before hand but it's ok, I started back at the gym today after being on holiday!!). Here's us sat on a bench in the town centre after eating our cheese straws..
..it sounds like we're back at secondary school doing selfies in the middle of town. But it was just soo nice to be reunited back with MY Shannon!! :)
It really was lovely to spend a few hours together, talking about anything and everything - catching up on what i'd missed on out while being away. She really is a VERY close friend of mine and I couldn't ask for a better friend. She is always there for me and I feel I can always talk to her about whatever I feel I need advice with etc. Over this past summer I also feel we have become much much closer, and that isn't EVER going to change. Seriously am going to miss her when she goes back to university. But shes going to have a BIG shock when I have weekends to myself and no work, she is going to be getting visits off me more often - therefore not going to be able to get rid of me :) haha. She'll love me for that, i'm suree!!

Anyway, enough of me rambling. If you have done anything lovely with your friends over the summer, or whenever and they have been lovely successful days out. Then please share, i'd be happy to hear about places that I could visit with my friends in the future ❤️
"I went inside for a while until she finished getting ready" haha this is the story of our lives, always having to wait for me!! Thanks for a hilarious day you doughnut xxx
