Tuesday 5th - I went for out for lunch with Shannon. We went to Costa, which is a place I absolutely love to meet my friends for an hour or so to have a catch up and a chit chat. We both had a Peach Iced Lemonade, and then a toasted panini which I had Ham and Cheese in mine. It sure was all delicious!!
I then couldn't resist my favourite and I also had a Chocolate Caramel Shortbread which are my absolute favourite. I actually couldn't resist, I didn't firstly purchase one when I got my panini as I thought 'no i'll be full enough' - but I couldn't hold back, haha!
Then on Wednesday 6th: I went to The Burton House who is part of the Brewers Fayre Company with my three friends Laura, Beth & Melissa. I was kind of sensible choosing my main meal of Sausage, Mash & Peas. However I AGAIN came weak at the knees and had a Belgium Banooffee Waffle desert, haha! I am totally useless at resisting sweet things at the moment, I think it's with all the exercise i'm currently doing I know that I need more sugar inside of me for the energy boost. (I'll go with that excuse anyway, haha!!) The meal was delicious and it was lovely having a catch up witb the girls.
Thursday 7th: This was probably the worst day out of the three with 'treats' in the morning mum asked me to join her to meet her friend uptown for a coffee. We went to Seventh Heaven Cafe which is situated in the Boston Market Place next to The Stump. I hadn't ever been in there before and with the weather being beautiful, we decided to sit outside in the sunshine. I had a vanilla latte which is also one of my favourites and AGAIN couldn't resist the sweet choice.. and had a Triple Chocolate Shortbread. It was absolutely delicious, it was warm with white, milk and dark chocolate! Mmm..
Then in the afternoon we had arranged to go to my Great Nanna's for lunch, we stopped at Ann's Chipshop near her house for some Fish & Chips. I chose Chicken Nuggets, Chips and Mushy Peas - it again was lovely!! It was wonderful to spend the time all day with my mother, bonding with some 'mother and daughter time' and then lovely visiting my Great Nanna and having lunch altogether.
So as you can see, all of these calories have been building up over the past 4/5 days - and I really should be considering the fact that I've got to be in a bikini in 3 days. But all i can say is, I've had a wonderful few days catching up with my friends and spending time wit my family. So does it matter? I guess i'm the way I am & if people don't like it..? No-one should have to change for anyone, thats what I say!!
If people have any good ways and building their strength up to resist the most delicious things in life, then pleasee share. Haha :) however.. alongside all of this naughty eating I have been doing my daily exercise at the gym and also had ny last pole exercise lesson! Honest, I do have some motivation inside of me! ❤️
All the food looks delicious, I can never resist something sweet and I love going to the chip shop too! I love your blog and I have followed you with Bloglovin. If you ever get a chance to check out my blog I would be delighted. Thanks!
