I can well & truly say that January has been a busy month for myself - with work, uni assignments & general day to day situations. Thats one of the reasons for my lack of blogging.. I think if I manage to blog once a month that may be a record, haha!
Through January it is obviously a busy month with it being after the Christmas period and the beginning of a New Year!
I've had uni assignment deadlines to meet, which successfully I completed but I get my results this Thursday (12th Feb) so hopefully *fingers crossed* everything will have passed. Here's a celebration photo of myself, Laura & Melissa..
..was so pleased to get it all over & done with, but no waiting about. The following week it was time to begin our 3rd module!
Saturday 24th Janurary was suppose to be an 'emotional' day so everyone was telling me - but I celebrated if i'm honest, & haven't been happier in ages! It was time to leave my weekend job at Johnson 's - after working there nearly 5 years, & starting my degree I needed the time to myself to be able to study. It was a wonderful place to work for & the people were so considerate & helpful. A big thanks for all of them. They bought me a beautiful Yankee Candle & a lamp holder to go with it. Smells delicious! As well as receiving some beautiful roses from a regular customer & some cards to say fairwell :)
That evening it was also Chloe's 18th, so Thomas & I went to her birthday party at the Conservative Club to celebrate. She had a great evening which is the main thing, but it was a great laugh spending a few hours there with work people (HTS Group). In the photo below there is a group picture of all of us from HTS, bottom left a picture of me & the birthday girl - Chloe, then at the bottom right me & Thomas.
That is overall my January as a month, other than those events happening I have been studying; reading many books and journals. As well as carrying on the gym and swimming - no rest ay?!
How was your January? Have you had a busy beginning to your month of February? ❤️
