Winter Wonderland

On Monday 29th December myself and Thomas went down to London, to visit Winter Wonderland. It's the first time I had ever been to see it and overall it was amazing!! We did many of the attractions there and we also went around London to see some other sights.

When we first arrived we went to our hotel Park Grand Paddington Hotel which was near Paddington Station..

..we dropped our bags off at the hotel, and then went for a walk to see if we could find Hyde Park ready for later at Winter Wonderland.

One this my mother asked me to look out for while in London was the Paddington Bears spotted around from the Paddington Trail. While just wondering around we managed to spot 3 of them..
As we found Winter Wonderland, we enjoyed walking around and enjoying the atmosphere. We had a couple of drinks at a carrousel bar which was different to any other bar, as the bar was situated in the middle of the carrousel which moved round slowly as you stood on it.
We then wondered around a little more enjoying the atmosphere, and then walked out towards Oxford Street. Spent a little money a few new things and some of what Thomas treated me to. A top from Newlook which has a floral pattern on it, a new dress from Dorothy Perkins ready for this evening (NYE) and a new dark red coloured MAC lipstick.

A refreshen up at the hotel was needed, and then we headed back to Winter Wonderland to go to the Ice Bar.

..then we noticed a little stall where you could toast marshmellows so we treated ourselves and toasted some together.

Then it was time to go for our evening meal, we went to an Italian restuarant near Bond Street.

Yesterday (30th December) we had an afternoon planned of going on various attractions at Winter Wonderland. So in the morning after our breakfast we went for a walk around seeing various sights of london near by. We headed towards Regent Street, that brought us to Piccadilly Circus area of London where we noticed Believe It or Not Ripley's museum where the tallest man was stood outside. We also had a look round Hamley's Toy Store.

We carried on walking around which bought it near Buckingham Palace, to the walking back round to Knightsbridge to the back entrance of Winter Wonderland. Which we headed to find something for lunch, out of all of the different food stalls we chose to have German Sausages. They were delicious!!

It was then time to go to the Magical Ice Kingdom where there were a variety of different sculptures made completely out of ice. Very cold but VERY amazing to see!!

We had then organised to go Ice Skating which was something I wasn't really looking forward to, as I knew I'd be falling on my bottom alot!! However it wasn't too bad, it was a funny experience. Haha!

We then had hot chocolates to warm us both up, with it then being time to go on the big wheel. It was nice to see a view of the whole of Winter Wonderland, when it was getting dark too. Amazing at how big it actually is, you don't realise!

Overall our couple of days in London at Winter Wonderland were lovely! It was nice to have the time together just the two of us. Many happy memories to be remembered and i'm sure they'll be many more memories to come in the future!!

Have you done anything nice to end the year of 2014? Have you visited London, Winter Wonderland this year? ❤️
