Firstly I had seen some lovely black patent shoes in Dorothy Perkins (shown in the picture below), they were £23 however when I got to the till they came up as £16.10. This was a great bargain - it was due to shoes having 30% off them over the weekend. Therefore gave me to excuse to be able to buy other things and not feel guilty, haha!
They remind me of the shoes which I used to have when I was younger 't-vobe dolly shoes from Clarks' as my mum said. I then had to find the main part of my work uniform, trousers. However with being 5ft1 it isn't the most easiest thing for me to buy, I either have to suffer with a small range of choice from a petite section or get normal sizes and have them shortened :( life really isn't fair sometimes ay?! But yes, I went into Next to look at the petite range and they did actually have quite a large range to choose from. I chose two pairs, a black tailored pair at £25 and a grey patterned boot leg pair at £25 (shown in the picture below).
They are both good quality material which is obviously needed in my kind of job, up and down off the floor kneeling down to help children, indoor and outdoor. Therefore I was more than happy with my purchases!
Both me and mum had therefore then both finished everything we needed to do, so we had a bit of 'mother and daughter time' and visited Seventh Heaven for a coffee which is situated in the Market Place of Boston, Lincolnshire. I had a Vanilla Latte (as per usual) and mum had a Lattee (shown in picture below). I would class it as a very reasonable priced cafe, as both of our drinks didn't even cost £5! Bargain!
Overall it was a very successful couple of hours uptown and I am now prepared for starting the new academic year - helping children learn in the school environment.
Have you had a busy weekend too? Have you been up to anything interesting? Feel free to share your weekends ❤️
