Catch up with Laura.

Laura is a very close friend of mine whom is going into the same career as me, we haven't seemed to be able to get together much this summer - always been busy doing our own things. However this morning we made it a date a while back, and made sure that we met up before starting back at work next week.

11 o'clock we met in our local town centre of Boston, Lincolnshire and went to Costa for a coffee. Just a coffee? Don't be silly - you have to treat yourself to a cake every now and then! We both had a Latte but I had a touch of Vanilla in mine, and we both choose a cake. I had a Chocolate Caramel Shortbread (as always, my all time favourite) and Laura had a Giant Jaffa Cake.

It was lovely to able to catch up over a coffee, we spoke about anything and everything - mainly what we have both been busy doing over the summer. It's a shame we haven't had the chance to catch up more over the summer and do more things together. It's genuinely because we have both been busy - but however long we go without seeing each other we are always our same old chatty selves as soon as we see each other, which proves a true friendship!!

We then we for a mooch around town, again to the local shops which we have ..heading to New Look first and I had seen a wintery scarf in there a few days ago when I went in with Shannon. I couldn't help but adore it again, and it was the last one left so I 'accidentally' purchased it. Haha! :) It's a dog toothed pattern scarf in black and white, a thick material - perfect for the autumn/wintery weather. It was £12 which I didn't think was too bad for a good quality and thick scarf. With my student discount it was £11.69 (love a bit of discount with my student discount!).

We then carried on looking around the shops, including Dorothy Perkins and Miss Selfridge in Oldrids Department Store. Finding a few different items that caught my eye but resisting until I go shopping to Meadowhall in Sheffield in a couple of weekends time!

However I did make another little purchase which was a drink to have on my walk home, considering the weather had warmed up a little bit. Its one of my all time favourite drinks, I seriously go weak at the knees everytime I see it as not many shops sell this specific flavour..

..Raspberry flavoured Lucozade Sport. Perfection in a bottle! :) ONLY 99p from Wilkinson's.

It's been a lovely morning catching up with one of my closest friends. Have you done anything nice this morning? Have you any suggestions of what I could do different with my friends, days out etc? If so please leave your suggestions ❤️
